STV 302 Information Technology and Society

A small seminar-style course that challenges students to consider the role of a technology we take for granted these days–the internet–and how it fits in society, linking it to concepts developed in earlier STV courses. Topics include computers and education, privacy, security, civics, physicality, work, gender and more.

Pre-requisite: Level at least 3A or one of STV 100, 202, 203, or 205
